Hamilton Weber LLC is seeking a litigation attorney with 0-5 years of experience, preferably in the areas of commercial litigation and medical malpractice defense, to assist with the firm’s expanding client base.
Qualified candidates must have a distinguished academic record, relevant work experience, excellent research and writing skills, superior work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude. Must be licensed to practice in Missouri.
Successful candidate will assist the firm with the following:
· Draft/revise responsive pleadings and other related motion practice;
· Substantial involvement in written discovery, including preparing, reviewing and responding to discovery;
· Litigation research projects;
· Prepare pre-trial motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to strike or exclude, motions in limine, and other dispositive motions;
· Draft direct and cross-examination outlines;
· Take and defend party and fact witness depositions;
· Research and identify potential expert witnesses; and
· Trial preparation and trial second chair assistance.
