Drew's real estate practice is primarily focused on real estate transactions and zoning and land use matters. He serves as counsel to municipal governing bodies, planning and zoning commissions, boards of adjustment, and other special commissions. Drew’s experience includes advising clients on issues of governance, negotiating and drafting complex real estate agreements and public works construction agreements with public and private entities, annexations, drafting and interpreting legislation, and the formation of special business districts such as community improvement districts and neighborhood improvement districts.

As a result of his extensive experience, Drew has presented seminars as a lecturer on various topics of interest for local governments, business associations, and other groups. Frequent topics include: real estate issues such as leasing, homeowner's associations, and financing public or private improvements; local government law issues; and business formation, contracts, and dissolution.
